Low cost supervision

I am currently training as a Supervisor at the Centre for Supervision Training and Development in Bath. As part of this training, I am able to offer low-cost supervision to a limited number of supervisees.

Having taught both skills and theory to psychotherapy students, I aim to balance a reflective, containing space with appropriate guidance and support. This includes supporting working with risk, sharing relevant theoretical knowledge and suggesting specific interventions when appropriate.

As a supervisor, I aim to bring the same qualities that I bring to client work — offering a containing, non-judgemental space with clear boundaries, where supervisees feel able to be open and honest about their clinical work and the broader issues surrounding it. I aim to build a strong, trusting rapport with supervisees, bringing empathy, calmness, and clarity to help contain anxiety and support the capacity to do the same for their clients.
